TRANSPORTATION
Automobile- Lexington is easily accessible via Interstates 81 & 64, as well as the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.

Airplane - Major airlines serve the Roanoke Regional Airport, 45 miles from Lexington and the V.I.P. Camp.  Transportation from this airport will be provided, by prior arrangement, for a round-trip fee of $40.00.

Overnight lodging in the dormitories can be arranged for campers arriving on Saturday, July 19.  Please contact the V.I.P. Camp Business Manager, Laura deMaria, to let her know you need this additional service.


CHECK-IN
Check-in will be held from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, in front of Graham-Lees Dormitory on the Washington & Lee University Campus.  Graham-Lees is located on West Washington Street.  Look for the V.I.P. Camp tent!


DEPARTURE
V.I.P. Camp will concluded by noon on Wednesday, July 23.  No lunch will be served, and all dormitory rooms must be vacated to accommodate the next arriving group.  Please make your departure arrangements with this schedule in mind.

Brooke Diamond - Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Washington and Lee University.  Brooke comes to Washington and Lee after serving as an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Amherst College.  At Amherst, Brooke assisted in all aspects of the program and helped lead the Lord Jeffs to a No. 6 ranking and the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2006.  Diamond graduated Magna Cum Laude from Amherst in 2003 with a bachelor of arts in psychology and law, jurisprudence and social thought.  She earned a total of 12 letters as a member of the women's lacrosse, soccer, and basketball teems and served as a captain for all three sports.

In lacrosse, she was a two-time First Team All-America selection and two-time Kelly Award winner as the Division III National Goaltender of the Year.  She was named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was selected the Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament's Most Outstanding Play in leading the Lord Jeffs to the 2003 National Championship.
