About Us

The V.I.P. Lacrosse Camp is held in historic Lexington, Virginia, on the campus of Washington and Lee University.

Cradled between the Allegheny and Blue Ridge mountains, W&L has produced not only peerless scholars, but principled leaders with a commitment to civility, service, and honor since 1749.

One of the nation's top fifteen liberal arts colleges, W&L offers a unique convergence of arts & sciences, law, journalism and commerce.

All V.I.P. Camp activities take place on the Washington and Lee University campus. The beautifully manicured natural grass fields and artificial turf stadium that host the W&L Varsity teams provide the outdoor facilities for the camp.

Meals are served in the campus dining hall, and campers are housed in University dormitories. All coaches are housed in the dorms with the campers and are easily accessible 24 hours a day. A certified trainer is on the premises at all times.

Lexington is located within Rockbridge County between the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains. In addition to being the home of Washington and Lee University, the Virginia Military Institute is also located in Lexington.

A historically rich southern town steeped in tradition, Lexington is a popular tourist destination. American Civil War leaders Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson are buried here.

It is also the site of the only house Jackson ever owned, now open to the public as a museum. Lexington is 45 miles north of Roanoke, VA, and 150 miles southwest of Washington, DC. It is convenient both to interstate highways and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
